Daniel Martinez

Daniel Martinez of Stanfield was born December 26, 1980 in Ventura, CA the son of Joe and Elva (Flores) Martinez. He passed away in Stanfield on February 26, 2026 at the age of 45.

Daniel moved with his family from California to Mission, TX when he was a child. The family relocated to Eastern Oregon in the early 1990's and he has lived in the Stanfield area since that time. He attended and completed his education in Stanfield schools.

Daniel worked in various jobs during his career. He worked in construction for Marlette Homes in Hermiston for several years. He enjoyed music, sports, break dancing and riding bikes. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by daughters, Violet and Serenity Martinez; sisters, Maria Mendoza, Mary DeChand and Rosemary Martinez; brothers, Joe Martinez, Ezequiel Martinez and Victor Martinez; and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
